Despite various challenges, our nation is fortunate enough to maintain Pakistan’s presence on the world map. Actually, all sincere and patriotic Pakistanis are genuinely concerned as the country has been passing through the most critical period in its history subsequent to the fall of its eastern wing in 1971. Pakistan faces numerous chaotic scenarios which are beyond repair for a long time to come, yet there still exits a glimmer of hope because of patriotism observed in the general public.

More than half of the past 63 years have been wasted to the detriment of the country because of the military coups, while the remainder portion was exploited by the successive democratic but incompetent regimes. Almost all puppet regimes were controlled by the civilian or military dictators. Such regimes and their rubber stamp parliaments proved good for nothing but poor governance, missing sovereignty, inefficiency and misappropriation of funds and authority. There has been a lot of interference with the judiciary to have validation stickers.

The untreated administrative paralysis remains an account of the official incompetence, and there is no sign of subsiding in the near future, while the rampant corruption is still sky rocketing.

Ongoing hidden hands have been adding further to the misery of our country which is rich in mineral and natural resources along with the talented brainers, yet an ailing system with poorly handled economy is the result of incompetent and dishonest politicians who are full of fakeness. The curse of shameful mishandling of national crises is highly thought provoking.

Enough is enough, now is the time to wake up and save the failing State of Pakistan from further deterioration before it is too late. The patriotic people should get ready to offer sacrifice in whatever manner possible to steer the country away from the danger-zone.

On the other hand, Pakistan’s tarnished image abroad certainly is in need of a facelift, sooner the better.

With united and well coordinated endeavor, our country still stands a chance; can also become a role model.

With that said, I have an idea about my beloved country which I want to share with my fellow Pakistanis. I am launching a project named “Ideal Pakistan.” I invite all Pakistanis including intellectuals, civil society, and scholars to convey their feelings on the critical situation along with the viable solutions for the benefit of present and future generations.

Write your essays on 12 given titles relating to the present situation in Pakistan and about Kashmir’s Freedom movement. Upon receiving essays on these topics, selected write-ups will be compiled in the form of a book. Writer’s full details will also be added in this book.

I wish that these essays should be very comprehensive. Not only should these thoughts help bring Pakistan out of the messy situation but also should act as a guideline specifically for our present and future generations.

Unfortunately, we desperately need competent, honest and sincere leadership. Upon publishing the book containing the selected write-ups, it will serve as a guideline for our government and for each Pakistani national. I am positive that this book is likely to play a “think tank role” possibly necessitating the creation of another institute as a stepping stone in the right direction, of course, in the best national interest.

*The writers are at liberty to express their thoughts in Urdu or English as long as they adhere to the set criterion. *The writers may include laborers, lawyers, doctors, engineers, scientists, economists, psychologist, journalists etc. *Their written work will be made part of the book based on its acceptance on a strict merit by a panel of judges.

*It is allowed to write on more than one selected subjects from the given list. Details of these 12 subjects can be seen on our website.

The prizes of one million rupees consisting of cash, umrah tickets, awards and appreciation certificates will be distributed.

Cash prizes will be given upon decision of judges’ panels.

Omraa tickets will be given through Balloting.

After compiling these write-ups in the form of a book, we will request our Mohsen-e-Pakistan to provide the title of this book. One million rupees prizes from our own personal resources. No fund will be collected from anyone.The Inauguration and initial work on this project has already begun along with media’s coverage from Toronto, Canada, Kotli Azad Kashmir and Center of Pakistani journalism, Lahore Press Club.

It is expected, Pakistani media and all other people of our civil society will take part in this project by sending their thoughts/essays for the guidance of our nation.

Media is specially requested to play a major role to awaken our national intellectuals to come forward and play their role for the excellent project.
